Welcome to the CHAT GPT workshop on Job Search Prompts!

Whether you’re a recent graduate, a seasoned professional, or someone looking to switch careers, this workshop is designed to help you succeed in the job market. The focus will be to provide you with practical examples of ChatGPT prompts that will lead you to great results in navigating the job search process.

We will cover a wide range of topics, including research summarization, job market penetration, job posting analysis, resume customization, cover letter writing, editing, LinkedIn optimization, networking, interview preparation and post-interview. You will learn how to leverage prompts to craft compelling resumes, customize cover letters, optimize your LinkedIn profile, and network effectively.

Our expert instructors will guide you through each topic, providing you with hands-on experience and personalized feedback. By the end of the workshop, you will have a comprehensive toolkit to help you land your dream job. Job Seekers Program – Job Search Strategy

 We all know about the different parts of job search, but how can you make them work for you? The Job Search Strategy workshop covers what things to consider when looking for a job including the types of employers, how to tap the job market and how to create a 90-day job search plan that will knock your socks off.

This workshop is facilitated by the Epilepsy Toronto Employment Services Department and is part of the Job Seekers Program: a four-week employment program that equips job seekers living with epilepsy and related conditions, with the skills they need to successfully navigate today’s job market. 

For more information on how to join this workshop, please speak with your Epilepsy Toronto counsellor or complete an intake form, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

GPS for your Career Presentation

GPS for Your Career Presentation is a new, dynamic and free career planning tool offered by First Work.

 

Alexis Roy from  First Work will be presenting an overview of this resource on Tuesday, December 13 from 2-2:30pm via Zoom.

Learn how to answer questions with a relevant work-related story or tech knowledge to any question asked at a job interview. It’s all about following the job posting and creating your answers based on experience examples. Stories are a type of proof that you really do have the matching experience.

Do you have a job but you’re worried about disclosing your disability?
Does the thought of having a seizure on the job stress you out?

Then UPLIFT for Employment is for you!

UPLIFT is a mindfulness-based cognitive behavioural therapy group for adults with epilepsy who are experiencing depression, anxiety, and/or stress, with a focus on employment. The hour-long skill-building group will be hosted online for 8 consecutive weeks.

This free program will guide you through a series of workshops designed to help you manage the stressful areas of your life and learn new skills in self-management. The program will start on Wednesday, September 20, and run weekly until November 8.
